There is something exciting about the shoulder seasons, spring and autumn, both in life, and in fashion. As the weather starts to turn, and we see a glimmer of winter ahead, here at Sorella Store we love to see the autumn colours start to filter through.

So what shades could dominate our wardrobe palette in the coming months?

1. Warm earthy colours - think terracotta, rust and ochre with their sense of warmth and coziness.

2. Jewel tones - rich and vibrant shades of emerald green, sapphire blue, amethyst purple, and ruby red add a touch of opulence.

3. Neutrals - as always, classic shades such as beige, camel, and black will remain and act as a perfect base for other colors and prints.

4. Pastels - softer hues of pink, lilac, and sky blue to balance out the bolder shades.

5. Metallics - like gold, silver, and bronze will be popular and add a luxe touch to any outfit.

Linens, wool and natural fibres will continue to dominate (check out Maxted knits), and trends that we see continuing include gender-fluid or androgynous styles, sustainable and eco-friendly options, the oversized silhouette, metallics and the statement sleeve.
